Children Trainer Specialisation
Turn your passion for fitness into a profession, with a short course on the basics of providing fitness training to children. Develop the ability to assess fitness levels, plus plan and review exercise programs for low risk children and young adolescents. With participants able to register as a Children's Trainer under the Fitness Professional Registration Scheme run by Fitness Australia, it’s the perfect course to allow your career to grow.
Career Opportunities
Upon successful completion, participants are eligible to register as a Children's Trainer under the Fitness Australia Fitness Professional Registration Scheme. For registered fitness professionals, this course is recognised for 7 Continuing Education Credits (CEC’s).
Entry Criteria
Successful completion of Certificate IV in Fitness in another area of specialisation, or the appropriate knowledge and skills/training to meet competency in the Certificate IV in Fitness prerequisites including gym instruction

Short program: Evening: 6 weeks (1 evening per week)

Recognition of Prior Learning
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where a student may be granted credit or partial credit towards a qualification in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training.
Standard course cost will be charged for units of study/courses credited via RPL.
