Due to Occupational Health and Safety all participants need to have completed a course of Hepatitis B vaccinations before commencement of work placement. Work placement commences in approximately week 10 into the program. A course of injections takes seven months to complete and must be completed prior to work placement. You will be required to provide a copy of your serology report as evidence of sero-conversion to HepB surface antigen (anti-HBsAg). Contact your GP to arrange a referral for a blood test.

Full Time : 1 semester, including 120 hours vocational placement in a dental health care facility.
This program is attendance based and classes are timetabled between the hours of 8.30am and 4:00pm, 4 days per week
Throughout the duration of the course you will be involved in assisting in the Denture Clinic on campus where hours will vary between 8:30am and 4:00pm.

For full time applicants there are two intakes per year, and applications are made in April/June for a July intake and November/January for the February intake.
