Entry Criteria


Completion of Year 12 is desirable
and
A personal interest and involvement in fitness activities is recommended

Where competition for places is high, applicants are selected according to eligibility and merit; vocational experience, previous study and personal competencies are used to determine entry.

Entry into the part-time program may be gained only after completion of the Certificate III in Fitness (or its equivalent).

Program Articulation

Successful completion of this program may assist students to gain entry into further study programs and/or may contribute towards study credits.

Program Duration

Full Time        12 months
(Cert III in Fitness 6 months / Cert IV in Fitness 6 months)

Part Time       18 weeks
(Cert IV only) Study includes two weeknights from 6-9pm

Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where a student may be granted credit or partial credit towards a qualification in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training.

Standard course cost will be charged for units of study/courses credited via RPL.

For full time applicants there are two intakes per year, February and July. Please consult QTAC for details of application and offer dates. For part time applicants there are currently two intakes per year; applications are made in May/June for a July intake and November/December for a February intake.
