Introductory Academic Skills Program (IAP)
All new AusAID students undertake the IAP. The IAP aims to assist new AusAID students to become familiar with the Australian academic environment and focuses on basic skills necessary for a smooth transition to study in Australia.
The IAP covers the following areas:
- Orientation and adjustment
- Relations with supervisors
- Research skills, seminar presentation and academic writing
- Computing and mathematics
- Support for AusAID students
