Getting to Brisbane
When arranging to travel to Brisbane either internationally or interstate, consider the following tips:
Call your local travel agent and ask about the different forms of travel and related costs. These companies will be able to arrange your travel details for you.
Once you have arrived at the Brisbane international or domestic airport, there are a few ways to travel to your accommodation:
- Airtrain
This is a train line that connects from the international and domestic airports and travels directly to the city or to a train station near where you are staying. - Coachtrans
These are coaches that wait at the airport for flight arrivals and take passengers to the Roma Street Bus Station (located in central Brisbane) for a fee. - Taxi
Taxi cabs are always outside the arrivals lounge for passengers that need to be taken to their accommodation. - Car hire
Car hire booths are located in the arrival lounge of the airport. You may hire a car if you have an international driver's licence. - Chauffeured car service
Booths are located in the arrival lounge at the airport.
