Brisbane es una amistosa ciudad, ubicada en la zona subtropical de Queensland, directamente rodeada por la Gran Cadena Divisoria, bosques naturales, cascadas y la costa.
Brisbane está también cerca de muchas de los mejores destinos turÃsticos, incluyendo la Gold Coast (Costa dorada) y la Sunshine Coast (Costa del sol).
La Gran Barrera de Coral, el sistema de arrecifes más grande y complejo del mundo, comienza cerca de la costa, a sólo un corto viaje con auto desde Brisbane. La barrera es tan grande que es visible desde la luna.
