Thank you to our first-class teachers

12 December 2008

Behind every successful Southbank Institute of Technology student is an inspiring and dedicated teacher.

In 2007, our teachers were a driving force in delivering many milestones for Southbank Institute and Queensland vocational education and training.

In a team effort with curriculum writers and educational designers, our teachers rolled out high level programs such as the Associate Degree in Civil Engineering and Vocational Graduate Certificates in Entrepreneurship and Applied Biotechnology (Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals). A Queensland first.

In 2007, our teachers and students gained access to new world-class and purpose–built facilities and laboratories, while combining more on-line technology in their training.

Southbank Institute teachers are specialists in entrepreneurship, health, biotechnology, sport and recreation, arts and entertainment and post-graduate vocational programs for professionals and associate professionals.

They are highly skilled and respected industry and education professionals with great networks and are a nationally recognised as leaders in flexible learning.
