Dr Stephen Clark
(PhD, FAIM, GAICD), Chief Executive Quality in Practice Pty Ltd and Australian General Practice Accreditation Ltd
Dr Stephen Clark has over 25 years senior leadership experience with 14 years as Chief Executive. He has been a company director for eleven companies since the mid 1990’s and Chair of national organisations such as the National Rural Health Alliance. Stephen has also chaired Finance and Audit Committees for biotech companies.
Stephen’s governance experience includes roles such as Chair of Board, National President, Chief Executive, Company Secretary and Board Member. He is a member of council for the International Accreditation Program of the International Society for Quality in Health Care and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He holds qualifications in Teaching, Psychology, Counselling and Special Education, as well as holding a Doctorate in Philosophy.
Stephen developed a strong relationship with the VET sector during tenure as Director of Rural Health Training from 1993 to 2000’.
