The next step for Indigenous young people: Information Day
The next step for Indigenous young people; information day aims to provide Indigenous high-school students in years 9 to 12 with all the information they need to pursue their future career or studies.
There are 114 different course areas to study at Southbank Institute of Technology. And we are introducing some exciting Certificate III courses in community services, cultural arts and health assistance in addition to the current STEP program for Indigenous high-school students.
The day includes a host of free fun activities, information sessions and BBQ lunch.
What's happening - event program
The event program provides you with the opportunity to:
- The student experience - hear from past and present students
- Gain valuable information about our high-school and STEP program
- Enjoy fun activities and information sessions
- Tour our world-class teaching facilities
- Talk with our teachers and Indigenous support officer
- Discover the many pathways to university
- Join us for a BBQ lunch.
