Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Arts
The unit offers both certificate and diploma programs in art, with the certificate level providing training in Aboriginal painting techniques, drawing, design, ceramics and screen printing. The program also develops business skills for self-employment or working for others.
The diploma expands on the certificate program, exploring more advanced techniques in Aboriginal art.
Participation in a group exhibition develops skills in planning, conducting and evaluating.
