Language Literacy and Numeracy Program (LLNP)
The Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program (LLNP) has been developed to help improve your language, literacy and numeracy skills to a high enough level to find employment or progress onto further training or study.
The LLNP is an Australian Government initiative funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations which provides free accredited language or literacy classes to clients whose language, literacy or numeracy skills are lower than required to secure employment or to participate in training or study.
The LLNP can also help job seekers from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds needing language-only training or job seekers needing literacy and/or numeracy training.
Eligibility for the LLNP
To enter the LLNP you need to be of working age (generally 15 to 64 years), not studying full-time and registered with Centrelink. There is no time limit for entry into the LLNP, however interested students must satisfy eligibility criteria relating to benefit and visa status.
To find out more about eligibility please contact your local Centrelink or Job Services Australia providers.
