Civil Engineering
Plan for a career in civil engineering by undertaking Southbank’s first Higher Education program - the Associate Degree in Civil Engineering. This is a program that develops your design and drafting skills. You will learn how to design and produce drawings for a variety of public facilities such as roads, pipelines, dams, bridges, steel and concrete structures. Covering everything from CAD programs to surveying and construction, this associate degree will provide you with the perfect start from which to build a successful career.

Our students enrol in civil engineering mathematics, drawing, workplace practices in the early stages of the associate degree and road design, civil engineering computer applications, geoscience and surveying at more advanced stages of the course. Our dedicated teachers provide or arrange ongoing support for our students in both learning and assessment situations as well as in their life at the institute.
