Meat Trades
Meat Trades offer traineeship and apprenticeship programs, which allow the learner to acquire the skills for safe, effective work practices in the meat processing industry. The programs offer the opportunity to integrate on-and-off-the-job training.
Southbank Institute of Technology also offers traineeships in meat processing with an option of smallgoods or food service. Successful completion allows the student to work as a meat handler or continue towards a trade or higher qualification.
