Business management student thanks Southbank Institute for practical skills
Prior to starting my program at Southbank Institute I had completed a Bachelor's degree in banking and finance. I felt there was a lot of practicality lacking, so I enrolled in business management at Southbank Institute. I found the program very useful and practical and was able to apply it to working life directly. Most of my assignments were based on my work at Vodafone. I also realised there was more personal contact between students and lecturers and this made my experience at Southbank Institute more enjoyable than uni.
I have just been offered a management position at work and I can thank Southbank Institute for it.

The programs within the Business and Information Technology faculty will equip students (and corporate clients) for a constantly changing work environment. We have the flexibility to deliver programs when and where a client chooses, as is the case with our roaming training service for computer programs, a concept that has been enthusiastically embraced by many organisations.
We are also able to respond to training requests very quickly, the next day if a lecturer is available. And as you might expect of the Business and Information Technology faculty, many of our programs feature an online delivery option.
Whether our students are learning to be library assistants, computer technicians, business managers, insurance brokers, web developers, computer system administrators, mortgage brokers, customs officers or any of the many career paths or enhancements open to them, they're onto a winning strategy with the practical, industry-relevant training they get with Business and Information Technology.
