Dream job: For as long as I can remember I’ve been training and working towards fitness goals. Working in the corporate environment I found that having a good gym workout was a great stress relief and a way to clear my head after long days in the office. I quite often found myself encouraging friends and colleagues along to the gym to train with me and I enjoyed pushing them to work hard.
I was given the opportunity to turn my dream into reality when my partner was transferred to Australia with the firm she works for. I decided to follow my passion and put my gym knowledge into practice and become a personal trainer. My goal is to help people gain back their life through exercise and healthy lifestyle choices, starting with childhood obesity.

Because our Diploma includes Certificates III and IV, our graduates gain three qualifications. For people already holding these Certificate qualifications they can complete the additional study and receive their Diploma in a shorter time. Southbank also offers a university pathway guaranteeing direct entry into the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at USC on successful completion of the Diploma.
