Health Sciences

The Faculty of Health Sciences is responsible for delivering a comprehensive suite of programs, grouped within schools of related disciplines. Fully equipped, state-of-the-art facilities utilise the latest technology, and training methods that have been developed in consultation with industry provide a ‘real work’ training environment. The Schools of Health Services, Community Services, Beauty and Recreation and Health Sciences are incorporated within this faculty:

School of Beauty and Recreation

In response to new government initiatives and industry imperatives, we have customised programs across all study areas. In particular, we have provided new training opportunities in biotechnology, lab technology, occupational health and safety, aged care, massage therapies and fitness. The development of newly endorsed training packages has meant that we have the platform to help grow new opportunities and new markets in the health industry.

Our faculty has always valued strategic alliances with industry groups to keep abreast of the changing training market. These alliances, along with our purpose-built training facilities and qualified, industry-experienced lecturers, are a winning formula for success for you, our students.
