What is an online course?
An online course is a course that is delivered wholly or partially via the Internet to a learner. An online course may cover virtually any topic.

Just like campus courses, online courses can vary a lot. Some involve exchanges of email and assignments between learners and the facilitator. Some involve online discussion forums or chat as part of the course. In others, quizzes and assessments may be conducted online.
