Southbank Institute of Technology's enrolment procedure is electronic and students are required to enrol online using the Student Self Service web site. Some exemptions do apply, please see student exemption information.

An email address
An email address that is stored in our systems. If you do not have an email address you will need to search the web for "free mail", if this is not stored in our systems, or you are not sure whether our records are current, please call us on 137248 to update these details.An enrolment pack
An enrolment pack includes your yellow Web Enrolment form and a timetable showing your class numbers. You will select your classes online by referring to this timetable and the class numbers that appear under your relevant sessions.Concession details
If you are claiming a concession, please ensure you have a current and valid health care card, or a pensioner concession card. Our website checks with Centrelink to ensure this is valid on the day of enrolment.If our link to Centrelink is not working or if your card is not valid at the time you enrol, you will be charged the full rate for your classes, which is non refundable. Please do not progress with your enrolment unless you are willing to pay the higher rate.
If you are claiming an ATSI, or Under 17 discount, your evidence must be submitted to our Student Administration and Services within 5 working days of your enrolment.

Fees and Payment details
Enrolment fees are listed on Student Self Service. Full fees apply unless you are eligible for a concession.If you are electing to pay by credit card, you must have these details with you at the time of enrolment. You have the option to pay with American Express, Visa Card, or Mastercard. The Institute has implemented a sophisticated security system to protect your Credit Card details.
If you would like to pay by BPAY, please ensure you have set this payment method up with your banking institution. Your payment must be received within 24 hours. For further information see BPAY's website http://bpay.com.au/consumers/bpay/bpay_qa.aspx
You may also pay at the counter of Student Administration and Services, whether you are enrolling online, or exempt from this enrolment method. Please select this payment method at the time of enrolment if you are enrolling online.
If you are experiencing financial difficulty the institute may be able to give you time to pay your fees.
