Payment assistance

Southbank Institute is now approved to offer both FEE-HELP and VET FEE-HELP across a range of our programs. This is a Commonwealth loan scheme available to eligible students. For further details please see www.southbank.edu.au/helpscheme.

Payment Plans are available to students who experience financial difficulty in paying for their study. Payment Plans may be provided at the discretion of the Institute Director or delegated officer.

Payment Plans may be refused where inadequate identification is provided, an unsatisfactory credit history exists, insufficient income to make the repayments or previous Payment Plan installments have not been adhered to.

Students who do not finalise their payment plan prior to the commencement of classes are required to pay the fees in full.

If the student is under 18, a guarantor must complete the payment plan application form. The guarantor provides their Income & Expenses on the Payment Plan application form and submits the form via email, post or in person at the Student Services Centre, C Block.

Payment Plans cannot be used in combination with FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP assistance.

Students who are experiencing financial difficulty and require further information in relation to our HELP schemes or a payment plan application can contact 13 72 48 for further information.
