Scholarships and Bursaries
Southbank Institute of Technology is committed to providing accessible pathways to learning and skilling for all students. We currently offer a selection of Institute-wide scholarships aimed to support both new and continuing domestic students in their educational pursuits. All of our scholarships are offered once a year, at the beginning of each academic year.
Please note that there are specific eligibility and selection criteria associated with each scholarship therefore you should read the terms and conditions carefully to ascertain whether or not you are eligible to apply. The scholarship process is very competitive and not all applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can be awarded a scholarship.
Successful applicants are exempt from enrolling online. Once the shortlisting and selection process is complete, the Scholarships Coordinator will contact successful scholarship recipients with instructions about the processing of enrolments. All applicants will be notified within four weeks of the application close date, with the outcome of their application. Therefore, if you apply for a scholarship, we suggest that you do not enrol until you have received notification of the outcome of your scholarship application.
In addition to the range of scholarships offered by Southbank Institute of Technology, there are opportunities to apply for a broad range of scholarships offered through external Government agencies, Community Organisations, and private sponsors. Learn more about External Scholarships
