What is STEP?
In 2009, Southbank Institute will offer units within selected Diploma programs to school students in Years 11 and 12.
Students:
- will be offered an on-campus experience, integrating with current Southbank students
- will have the opportunity to complete an entire STEP Diploma post senior school, with a confirmed entry and credit into the Diploma they have been studying
STEP study is a part of a student’s high school curriculum and therefore credits toward their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).
The majority of Diplomas offered will provide pathways and credit to university programs.
What is STEP HUB?
STEP HUB is the registration site for the STEP program. This site allows:
- Principals to register their school for STEP
- STEP Coordinators to manage their school’s STEP account
- Students to apply for an Expression of Interest pack regarding a STEP Diploma
