The Anti-Discrimination Act (1991) promotes equality of opportunity for everyone by protecting them from unfair discrimination in certain areas of activity and from sexual harassment and certain associated objectionable conduct.
Other anti-discrimination legislation has been put in place to protect people with disabilities from unfair discrimination, harassment and certain associated objectionable conduct.
