Literacy and Learning Centre
We provide support to people who need to improve their skills in reading, writing, spelling, basic maths and learning strategies.
Many of our clients consider the Literacy and Learning Centre a safety net. If it wasn't for the centre they would have abandoned the idea of starting a program, continuing current studies, looking for a job or improving their skills in the workplace.
We assist people who have different needs
Many people who use the centre:
- need immediate strategies to assist them to complete their course or
- need to improve their skills to get a job, do their current job, or seek a promotion or
- have learning difficulties and need to develop strategies to improve their reading and writing.
We provide a supportive learning environment
For some individuals it takes a lot of courage to admit they need assitance. Once they take the initial step and talk to our staff, they discover the benefits of learning in a supportive environment.
We assist you to achieve your goal
Our staff are professionals who have extensive experience in dealing with literacy and numeracy difficulties. They will work closely with you and assist you to achieve your goals. You need a willingness to learn and commitment to achieve your best.
